Eric Wood was called into the ministry at age 14; he received his B.S. from Huntington University and spent a year preparing for full-time ministry with Horizon Christian Fellowship in southern California. Eric is married to his wife of 15 years, Mandy and has three kids (Luis, Eden, and Elijah). Eric has served the people of God in various places through fulfilling various roles - youth pastor, worship pastor, assistant pastor, Fellowship of Christian Athletes director and sundry other opportunities. After six years on staff at Calvary Chapel Fort Wayne, Eric and his wife, Mandy, along with two of their children, traveled throughout the world for two years as “Musicianaries”.
Returning to Fort Wayne in 2008, Eric later stepped into the role of lead pastor at his home church. In May of 2014, the Wood family was sent by their home church, Gospel Community (Previously Calvary Chapel Fort Wayne), to become missionary planters in Maine. Today, Eric and his family are continuing to learn how how to treasure and follow Jesus in the normal and natural with one another, as neighbors.
